“We are pleased to be awarded this contract through the Build in Canada Innovation Program,” said Sandra MacGillivray, Valency Inc’s Managing Director. “We’re excited to be working with the Department of National Defence to help them test Carve for PDRI to improve scope definition across their portfolio of projects, and provide insight into areas for continuous improvement.”

“Recent structural changes at DND have made measuring and achieving proper scope definition a key factor for achieving cost and schedule goals,” said Peter Crain, Director of Real Property Project Development at the Department of National Defence. “PDRI is recognized and used successfully by many of our US Federal counterparts. Working with Valency and implementing Carve for PDRI will help us ensure proper scope definition. “

Built around an industry standard for measuring scope definition, Carve for PDRI, helps organizations improve project stakeholder alignment and identify project gaps and risks. Ultimately it will improve cost and schedule results, not only for the identified project, but for the organization’s portfolio of current and future projects.
