This course introduces the principles of Commissioning & Operational Readiness (COR) from construction through to project completion. Readiness factors and “hot spots” are introduced to address Construction Industry Institute (CII) findings that 40% of projects experience schedule delays during commissioning and startup.

Participants will learn the six phases of commissioning, their interdependencies, and the importance of early operational team involvement to identify and resolve issues before transitioning phases.

The course covers Valency’s Commissioning & Operational Readiness Assessment methodology and the related Carve software application. It details facilitation techniques, participant roles, and logistics for successful assessments to improve transition readiness.
